Friends of the Library “Spring” semi-annual shredding event
April 21 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Friends of the Library “Spring” semi-annual shredding event is set for Saturday, April 21st. The event will be held in the Fountain Hills Public Library parking lot located at 12901 N. La Montana Dr., from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the truck is filled.
CFLs and tube florescent bulbs will be collected adjacent to the document destruction site from 9 a.m. to noon. No CRTs will be collected. For information, go online to fh.az.gov/345/Electronics-Recycling-Events.
Both of these events provide a safe solution for destroying old and unwanted items. All documents are shredded on site and taken to a recycling facility and recycled. There is a 4-box limit of documents per person and only soft cover folders can be shredded. Documents must be attended at all times. Items left unattended will not be processed.
The Friends of the Library shredding event is a semi-annual event held in April and November. The shredding and recycling events are available for residents of Fountain Hills, the Verde communities and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
